Dr. Alexander Zaks Georgetown Graduate


Georgetown University School of Medicine has many successful alumni. A fine example of the medical school’s alumni is Dr. Alexander Zaks. Dr. Alexander Zaks attended Georgetown University School of Medicine from 1989 to 1993 after graduating from the University of California (UCLA). He chose the medical school because he wanted to learn as much as he could about the medical field. 

As a Georgetown University School of Medicine graduate, Dr. Alexander Zaks, he made the school proud. He returned to California to continue learning about medicine and pursuing a specialty. He completed his first medical residency at the University of Southern California’s Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles.

There he found his love of pain management. Once he finished his residencies in 1997, he continued to pursue his pain management specialty at USC’s Hospital Medical Center. He completed his fellowship training in 1998.

His time there was invaluable. That’s why he’s taken his Georgetown knowledge in every medical job he’s held. Shortly after he finished his pain management fellowship, he worked in the Anesthesiology department of UCLA Olive View Medical Center. 
Dr. Alexander Zaks moved on to Cedar-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He spent a year working in the center’s anesthesiology department. His pursuit of helping patients never stopped. Dr. Alexander Zaks supervises about 100 employees offering surgical and non-surgical treatments to thousands of patients with chronic pain issues.
